Since the inception of Qassim Cement Company, the development of its workforce was one of the strategies behind the success of QCC. Throughout the years, the Company has initiated several development programs aiming to develop its employees with special focus on local workforce.
One of those programs is the professional development program which is designed to attract the newly Saudi graduated Engineers and enroll them in a well designed program to develop them in specific field related to their specialization. As a result, we are proud to say that we have Saudi Engineers in key positions across the organization.
Another example, is the cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) where QCC signed five agreements with HRDF resulting into recruiting more than (140) Saudi employees. This program includes formal and on-job-training for certain period that may reach 24 months.
