On Sunday, December 15th, 2024, Human Recurses Department proudly marked the successful completion of its six-month Professional Advancement Program with a ceremony held at the Plant Training Center. The event, themed Advancing Together: Honoring 6 Months of Progress, celebrated the achievements of over 50 trainees, including engineers, technicians, and operators, who participated in the program designed to enhance their skills and knowledge for excelling in their roles.
The program aimed to empower Saudi youth and develop a skilled workforce capable of supporting both the company’s growth and the broader cement industry. Structured into three stages, the program began with an introductory phase to cover industry basics, followed by on-the-job training that provided hands-on experience across key facilities, and concluded with an advanced stage focused on specialized skills, including those needed during the company’s scheduled shutdown period.
During the celebration, attendees reflected on the remarkable progress made throughout the program, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of both trainees and trainers. This milestone was not just a reflection of individual achievement but also a testament to QCC’s ongoing commitment to investing in local talent and fostering professional growth within the sector.
